Teachers with full registration may be selected for audit of their continuing professional development (CPD), regardless of whether they are teaching full time, part time, doing supply teaching, or not teaching at all. The audit selection is randomly generated.
If you are selected for audit you will be requested to submit records and/or evidence to establish that you have undertaken the required CPD for the audited period.
The QCT has an online CPD recording tool that is available through your myQCT account. If you are audited by the QCT, you are required to submit your records to the QCT using this tool, so it is an advantage to use it to progressively record your CPD each year. You also need to keep the evidence that substantiates your records.
