Graduate stage

Graduate teachers have completed an accredited teacher education program and met the Graduate Standards.

They:

• Plan and manage learning programs.
• Understand the diverse needs of students.
• Use inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
• Apply curriculum knowledge and effective teaching strategies.
• Assess student learning and adjust teaching as needed.
• Provide timely and useful feedback.
• Build positive relationships and manage behaviour effectively.
• Support student wellbeing and safety.
• Work professionally with colleagues, families and the wider community.
