Daniel is committed to selecting and developing customised teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all his students, many of whom have a learning impairment. With a number of deaf children in his class as well as students with Autism, Aspergers, speech impediments and behavioural disorders, Daniel has modified curriculum appropriately so it is accessible but still challenging. Daniel developed a three-day workshop to teach students how to be Mobile Journalists, working with the students to develop a script, gather footage and edit a documentary.
