Desiree was responsible for the development of a dance program, using camps, travelling artists and day trips to align as many assessment pieces as possible with hands-on work experience. Desiree’s students regularly enter the local Dance Eisteddfod and WAKAKIRRI competitions and give back to the community by participating in the local show, Christmas carols and festivals. Desiree also offers after-school dance classes and volunteers her time during the school holidays to choreograph for the Local Community Theatre. Committed to staying in touch with the dance world, Desiree recently received technique and class delivery training from Ausdance Victoria.
