David uses a wide range of methods to engage his students, from hands-on work to utilising many forms of technology. As an engineering graduate, David’s outstanding achievements have been the development and implementation of three new subjects – the Robotics program, Mechatronics and the Senior QSA subject Engineering Technology. David has also taken on the training of extra staff as the popularity of these subjects continues to increase. David maintains relationships with contacts at both QUT and UQ, allowing students access to special activities and facilities.
