Kate used to work as a chartered accountant, so her real-world insights are a natural asset in her role as a senior economics teacher — and her versatile skills also extend to junior geography classes. Although she is relatively new to the teaching profession, Kate’s programs are already proving successful, such as her ‘Greening Grammar’ initiative which helped students maintain a market garden. She is currently coordinating a project for Year 8 students exploring the issues of social justice and community awareness.
