Rita believes that creative mediums enhance student learning, and her talent for integrating multimedia has paid off across the range of subjects she teaches — from German, French and Drama to Religious and Values Education. Her lessons in German include programs covering cyber safety and youth issues, and she was awarded a three-week scholarship to Germany earlier this year. Rita also helped her senior students win the Goethe-Institut National German School Film Award for their production, Die Mauer (The Wall).
