Are you inspired by an excellent teacher?
Nominate a registered Queensland school teacher from a State, Catholic or independent school for an Excellence in Teaching Award. Four categories are available.
Each award category distinguishes a key stage in a teaching career.
Finalists receive professional development funding, an invitation to participate in an awards presentation and celebrate the profession on World Teachers' Day, Friday 25 October 2013.
An award nomination is a form of appreciation which recognises a teacher's significant achievements.
School communities may promote the Excellence in Teaching Awards through school newsletters.
