Fees

Pay your fees using our new online payment process.

To pay your annual fee, please go to the fee payment page. 

Annual Fee Payment and the Late Fee

The Annual Fee is payable every year and a fee notice will be sent to your chosen address approximately six weeks prior to the due date of the payment.  There is currently no option to pay for more than one year at a time.

If the Annual Fee is not paid by the due date on the Fee Notice a late fee will be incurred. If the Annual Fee and/or the Late Fee are not paid by the due date on the Final Reminder notice the QCT is required to cancel registration.

QCT fee structure

The total fee for registration is (application only):

The fee is made up of an application fee of $74 (not applicable to applicants applying within two years of completing an approved initial teaching qualification at a Queensland higher education institution), an initial registration fee of $95.00, and a compulsory $23.10 fee for a national criminal history check as required by law. The criminal history check fee is non-refundable. If your application is not approved or is withdrawn, the $95.00 initial registration fee will be refunded. Once you are registered, all these fees are nonrefundable.

For a person who holds an approved preservice teacher education qualification from a Queensland university, which was successfully completed not more than 2 years before the application is made nil
All other applicants $74.00

Registration Fee

Criminal history screening Fee
The criminal history screening fee is charged only at the time of initial application for registration. The costs associated with criminal history screening checks to be undertaken as a requirement of renewal of registration have been factored into the annual registration fee.
