Code of Ethics for Teachers in Queensland

The teaching profession expects high standards of ethical behaviour from its members. The QCT is developing a Code of Ethics for Teachers in Queensland PDF document about the professional conduct or practice of approved teachers.  The code will provide a formal framework of ideals to guide and encourage all teachers to achieve high standards of ethical behaviour and service provision in their dealings with students, families, caregivers, colleagues and the broader community.


In the meantime, the QCT has adopted the Ethical Standards for Queensland Teachers of the former Board of Teacher Registration. The Ethical Standards brochure PDF document and Ethical Standards document PDF document are available for your information.
