Disciplinary information
On receipt of disicplinary information the QCT must determine whether disciplinary proceedings should be started.
Disciplinary information means any of the following:
- a complaint against a teacher, other than a complaint the QCT refuses to deal with
- information in or accompanying an application made by a person for registration or permission to teach.
- information disclosed to the QCT by a teacher about a change in criminal history, and/or changes to teaching status in another state.
- information disclosed to the QCT by employing authorities, the Commissioner of Police, prosecuting authority.
- other information or a document required or permitted to be given to the QCT under the Act.
- an investigator's report about a disciplinary matter.
