The QCT

The Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) is a Queensland government statutory authority, established in January 2006.

Its purpose is to regulate, enhance and promote the teaching profession in Queensland in the best interests of the public and the profession.

The QCT receives no funding from government - its operating costs are covered by income derived from registration fees.

The QCT Strategic Plan 2010 - 2014 outlines the vision, purpose and values of the QCT. It also sets out the major goals of the QCT over the next few years.
