CPD activities and resources

Professional development comprises active and reflective engagement in a range of professional experiences that are considered supplementary to your day-to-day responsibilities as a teacher. The intent of professional development is to enhance your skills, knowledge and understanding in order to enhance student learning outcomes. Professional development can be:

  • employer provided
  • linked to systemic programs and initiatives
  • delivered by private providers
  • comprise additional formal study (university, TAFE)
  • school-based
  • offered by professional associations and networks.
