The Graduate Certificate (Assessment of Student Learning) is designed to develop high level assessment skills and understandings in classroom teachers, school leaders and assessment specialists. This university recognised course is delivered in a combined face-to-face and online delivery mode with each unit being delivered in one school term. All learning is embedded in your daily educational practice.
Through this course participants will identify key principles of effective assessment, identify the types of evidence needed for making valid and reliable judgements and design assessment plans that reflect the diverse needs of learners, the purpose of the assessment and curriculum goals.
