Review and Appeal Rights

Where a person or entity is dissatisfied with certain decisions of the QCT or the Professional Practice and Conduct Committee made under the Education (Queensland College of Teachers) Act 2005 (the Act), the person or entity may first appeal the decision by making an application for review to the QCT Internal Review Committee.

A person may appeal to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) against a review decision of the QCT Board or a decision of the QCAT.
